Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
1. PRECAUTION
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.
2.DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

Remove the upper part of the rear door weatherstrip so that the rear door outside moulding sub-assembly can be removed.

Detach the 2 claws and remove the door window frame moulding clip.

15.REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
When removing window frame moulding, heat the rear door panel and window frame moulding using a heat light.

Do not heat the rear door panel and window frame moulding excessively.

Put protective tape around the rear door outside moulding sub-assembly LH.
Using a moulding remover, detach the clip.
Detach the clip and remove the double-sided tape to remove the rear door outside moulding sub-assembly LH.
